Theatrical and vicious, she makes every attack deeply personal, understanding that exposing Travis’s weaknesses can inflict greater damage than simply defeating him in combat. The sprawling supporting cast and established mythology give Carnage Coast the energetic feel of a comic-book universe, while explosive confrontations keep the narrative moving at a brisk clip. Beneath the spectacle, Holiday explores identity, redemption, free will, and the difficult distance between being chosen and feeling worthy.
